The LDA Receives Unqualified Report

The Auditor General has given the Limpopo Department of Agriculture (LDA) good health of its financial matters. The LDA has received an unqualified audit report for the previous financial year. The Department has achieved this for three years in succession. The Auditor General, Mr Terrence Nombembe indicated in his report released to the Provincial Legislature that the financial position of the LDA for the previous financial year was in accordance with the requirements of the PFMA.

The Limpopo Department of Agriculture (LDA) has done it again at PMR Africa Awards by scooping two Diamond Arrow Awards on 24 August 2012 at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane.

A random survey found the LDA as the Provincial Department that has been most effective in achieving its goals and earned the first diamond award. The second diamond award is a reward for the LDA’s commendable initiatives specifically the Limpopo DAFF Female Entrepreneur of the Year Project.
