The 2 February 1971 marked the establishment of a day on which countries around the world came together and signed the Convention on Wetlands in the Iranian City of Ramsar. MEC For Agriculture in Limpopo, Mme Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba prioritises stakeholder relations as one of the most important cornerstones in building an effective administration of the LDA. To make sure this happens, she has so far visited all the districts and offices of the LDA to share ideas on her Department could improve service delivery. She engages with important stakeholders in the Agricultural Sector, particularly farmers and farm workers who are mostly represented by farmer unions and farm workers representatives. About 20km out of Mookgophong on the way to Roedtan, at KR554 Portion 11 Gruisfontein there is a well known goat project popularly known as Dipudi project but registered under the name Mookgophong cooperative. Limpopo IDC Nguni Cattle Development Trust

The Limpopo IDC-Nguni Cattle Development Trust wishes to invite interested farmers from Limpopo Province, who want to participate in the Limpopo IDC-Nguni Cattle Development Programme to apply. The Trust undertakes to loan the farmers a herd of Registered Nguni Cattle for a period of five (05) years, the loan shall be repaid within a period of five years by either through a herd of cattle equivalent in number and quality to the animals received and should from the same herd or money to the value of the initial herd received.
